Tanganyikan Gateway is Beenleigh Aquariums & Cichlids Centre online. The Beenleigh store has been operating in business for 7 years now, offering many unique fish from around the globe, though our passion & specialty has always been for Tanganyikan Cichlids.

Founder & Owner Andrew was born in Poland & spent his early years escaping the reality of war torn Europe engrossed in his passion - cichlids! Since immigrating to Australia 35 years ago, Andrew has stayed relentlessly involved in the industry thus becoming responsible for founding many of the cichlid clubs around our country.

Now more than 60 years on, Andrew has grown an extreme wealth of knowledge & experience within the industry, which has given us the opportunity to make many strong connections worldwide. This allows us to offer a variety of fish for sale that may be difficult to find elsewhere in the country, or to at least the quality & standards.

All fish are 100% pure and free from disease while maintaining excellent quality as well. We are very experienced in packing and sending fish all around Australia as we do this weekly.  We work hard to be compatible with our prices so if you want to purchase in bulk- please contact us for a quote as we may be able to cater you an even better deal.
